I need help!
I've been in my current roll for 12 months and whilst on holiday I have been offered a new position and they want me to start the day I'm back in the country.
Now my current notice period is up for debate in my opinion, once you have been with the company for 12 months it is 4 weeks however whilst on probation it is 1 week. My contract stations probation can be extended and you will be informed in writing when you have completed this. I have never received anything in writing to say my probation is over, only to say it has been extended.
Could I argue 1 weeks notice with them? I don't really want to go back and I have no lose ends to go back to anyway as I tided everything due to being out of the country.
