Work meeting & Bereavement

I'm meant to have a work meeting which is due to me being of long term sick (it's been a month). I was notified of a request for a meeting for next week but my mother has passed away yesterday. Is it reasonable to request this is delayed until late next week or the week after (I'm signed off until then)?

More than reasonable. Any decent employer would agree to that.

Sorry about your mum Thanks

Sorry to hear about your mum, of course it's ok to ask for the meeting to be delayed.

Definitely not being unreasonable. Your employer should understand. I'm sorry to hear that she passed away OP.
