What qualifications do you have?

What is your current area of work and how far up the ladder are you?

Can you afford a drop in salary?

Are you interested in re-training and how long could you dedicate to this?

Is there another occupation you particularly want to try - or are you vague on this point?

Does your work have to accommodate any particular domestic situation or location?

These things might help people to respond accordingly!
