My DD is recovering from a serious illness, so I need to be at home with her for at least another year. Nursery could put her back a long way , so any help with my work-related 'problem' would be very much appreciated.
Inspired by some of the MN threads (thank you, ladies ), I emailed a local market research company to enquire about transcription. To my delight they are interested in using me. However, the rates online vary wildly and I would very much appreciate some guidelines on rates from anyone who buys or sells MR transcription services. I don't want to look either greedy or stupid when I email them!
I am a trained BBC subtitler with a very good keyboard skills, so I would expect to get through interviews pretty quickly. I am based in the Frozen North.
