I have been working at a job that I love and I am thriving in, getting positive feedback from colleagues from every strata - but my line manager (who is overall boss of the team) has been low level hostile to me from the start, just told me I hadn't passed my probation.
I can prove that I have met my objectives and have on record positive feedback about my work from dozens of colleagues throughout the organisation, but ultimately I know that I won't be able to progress significantly in a team with him in charge.
I hate that I am being forced to look for work elsewhere but don't want to create a stink in case it ruins my chances of getting a new job and undermines my professional reputation with current colleagues.
I got in touch with HR and they basically told me to get a union rep as they were advising him.
I am totally screwed here, aren't I?
