Anyone have any tips for taking first steps to recover from burnout? I’ve been doing the equivalent of two jobs since returning to work 3 months after DS2, now 3.5, was born. Also have a 6 year old. Have talked to employers consistently, and they have taken steps to reduce my workload. But even though I now could have time to take control going forward, I’m feeling absolutely flat and incapable of making progress or change. My field is quite specialist, there are very few jobs, and the role should be ideal - well paid, permanent, close to home. I don’t want to throw in the towel but can’t get unstuck and have been constantly stressed and deeply unhappy for years since taking the job when pregnant with DS2.
