Maternity leave

Hi looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience or any useful advice.

I gave my employer a letter back in April stating I was pregnant and gave all details (due date, leaving date etc) since then I have given them my mat b1 form at start of July.
I have still not received any letter to say that they accept my maternity leave and when I am expected back etc, my maternity leave is due to start in 6 weeks and I am now worrying what will happen if I don't hear back from them soon... my manager has said she's chasing up hr but not getting any response!

Thanks in advance Smile

I got my letter literally on my last working day last week at 36 weeks. If you have submitted the forms then you should be covered.

They have 28 days to respond.. send them a link to the government website where this is stated.

Also.. they can't refuse it so don't worry!

They can't refuse it can you contact HR yourself? There's no timescales for them to confirm your arrangements with you so it
Might be they just do it closer to time

I put mine in and got a letter in the post about 10 weeks later, just before the day i left lol
