I'm just looking for some advice really. I've been at my place of work for almost a year but I'm really not happy. Every day is a struggle and I'm just not managing with some aspects of the work. My contract is up for renewal soon and although I know my employer can say that I'm not suitable for the job and they won't be renewing etc, is it the done thing for me to say that I don't want to renew? It was renewed automatically the last time so I'm not sure when I'd need to say I don't want to continue.
