Hi all, Hope you are all well

I am going to try and not make this long winded.
I currently am contracted for 16 weeks
This March just gone contracted Pneumonia and was diagnosed with two heart valves that needed replacing. Am now having surgery on the 20th August. Needless to say I have been of work since March.
I receive
SSP
PIP daily living component (because I have arthritis and osteoarthritis)
Working tax credit with a disability element
Partial Housing Benefit because my hours were only 16 per week ( due to arthritis in my hands)
Obviously, after the operation I am going to be off work for a further 4-6 weeks, in which time my SSP will run out.
I am aware that I need to send them a form from my employer but does anyone know what I will receive payment wise?

many thanks all for any advice i receive am a little worried as I do not want to be battling to sort finances at this horrible time

Once your SSP ends your WTC will also end. You'll need to make a claim for Universal Credit.

Sorry, missed ESA. You may have an entitlement to new style ESA as well, depending on your NI Contributions record over the past few years.

Thank you No baggy Pants... up until i went part time last year I was full time so National Insurance record is good.

Re working tax credits: I thought that was based on the previous years earnings and i will be back to work hopefully six weeks after the operation

many thanks
