Hi all,

I’m looking for some help- I’m planning to start a business baking from home in the near future and would really love some help from people who don’t know me well to decide on my business name.

I have narrowed it down to the four below:

Little Lady's Bakery
Polly & Posy’s Cake Co.
The Bakery at 23
Rum & Roses Cake Co.

What do people think to any of those? Which is your favourite and if you were buying a cake for a special occasion would any of these stand out and why?

TIA Smile

Amy

I really like The Bakery at 23- says what it is and sounds professional
Id stay away from any alcohol inclusions
The others are a little too cheesy/ american- nauseatingly sweet for me

Bakery at 23

I like Rum & Roses - it doesn't need the cake co bit. Your business name doesn't need to say what you do and Rum & Roses is very distinctive.

I like the Bakery at 23!

And I would like to mix two of your others up - Polly & Posy's Bakery Smile that's a company name I'd remember.

Beware of using a location if there’s any chance you’ll move Bakery at 23 just sounds daft if you’re not at 23.

I do prefer ‘the Bakery’ to the cutsie names though.

Although ‘Amy’s Bakery’ would work for me too.

Baking/cake making from home is largely word of mouth, so using your own name is a good option

Brilliant, thanks very much for your responses everyone the help is much appreciated! I think I’m leaning towards The Bakery at 23.
