Oh dear.. I've messed up!

So, long story short, sent my boss off for an important appointment I'd booked for him today in London (two hour train journey).. I absolutely, 100% believe I booked it for today. They, and his confirmation, say 30/07, which is too late, and they won't see him today.

Neither of us checked the confirmation email. He has said not to worry, but I feel so bad for sending him on such a trek in this heat, and for not checking.

I would put my life on booking it for today, but I can't have done - how did I make such an error?!

I've apologised of course, but I feel ridiculous, and now he's got to go again on Thursday (if we can get him an appointment!!)..

ARGH!

Mistakes happen, chalk it up as experience and make sure to check and double check things like this.

@whirlwinds I know, I usually do, and I usually have everything printed and organised to the finest detail, but this has slipped through.

I feel like such a wally!
