Work troubles

Hi I work at a pub and the manager serves underage staff alcohol at the end of some shifts sometimes or maybe all the time buys it for them and sits there drinking with them. I’m not sure what to do about this. I feel like it would be wrong for me to let this go as I am a personal licence holder and I know the consequences. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh and he has a family...

Presuming they’re 16/17 then isn’t it legal if it’s wine/beer, they’re eating a meal and it’s bought by an over 18? Give them some chips and all is good no?! But regardless I couldn’t bring myself to get that upset about it if it’s just a drink and a chat at the end of the shift. Unless you’re suggesting something else is going on, I don’t understand your comment about his family, are you saying that he’s hitting on the young staff and trying to get them drunk?!

It is illegal to serve or give alcohol to any person under the age of 18 unless it is wine beer or cider served with a table meal as long as they are with an adult. I know the law as I have said I am a personal license holder. This is a grown man giving and serving spirits to underage staff. Just doesn’t sit right with me. This is also only certain under 18 staff members not all of them.
