16 YO - working hours

Hiya

DC had just finished GCSE's and got a summer retail job.

There are rules on .gov.uk relating to how many hours 16 year olds can work, but it's not clear whether this only applies up to school leaving age? Anyone know?

The restrictions apply until they are no longer 16. Restrictions during school holidays are very ‘light’ though.
