New temp job for pregnant

Do people actually give a 3 month contract to a pregnant woman or with other reasons they are refused? Is it a good idea to leave a very stressful job and look for something lighter and temporary to keep the money rolling?

I wouldn't leave an existing job if you are already pregnant as you won't be entitled to SMP

I do not have SMP as my employee is in Singapore and I work remotely
