Cover Letter

I am applying for a job where I need to upload a CV and Cover Letter as well as fill in an application form.

As I’m uploading it to the employer do I need to put the employer’s contact information? I have an address but not a specific contact name.

No I would just put dear sir/madam or to whom it may concern or simply 'good morning' or 'dear hiring manager' depending on how formal a company it seems to be.

They know their address etc and you aren't posting it so no need to put that on there. And of course make sure it has your contact information on there.
