So I’m not sure if I am overthinking things. However, I recently went to an assessment day for a dream job. I got a lovely phone call from recruitment a few days after saying they really liked me, and so I’m one of few to be asked for the next stage interview (another stage after that too)... I was professional and polite, then out slipped out of my mouth “awh that’s made my day, thank you”
Confused

Will this be seen as unprofessional?

Probably not. I've been very informal with recruiters pre- and post- interview and they've never complained. Most people would be fine with that these days Smile

I’m an employment specialist, it’s fine to say that. People enjoy delivering good news for said reactions! They’re just fellow humans not recruitment-bots!! :)

That’s lovely! I think the recruiter would be chuffed to hear that. Really.

That was fine, you've nothing to be embarrassed about. Well done for so far and I hope you get on further.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Good luck 👍
