Civil service success profiles

Hi. I am looking to apply to Civil service for HEO roles. Previously been a HEO. I am struggling with the success profiles and not scoring well. I know the examples are good and it getting frustrating. I been paying for different department. Any advice would be appreciated. I am using the STAR technique. Some of the examples I have used before and scored high on. Any advice would appreciated.

If you're sure your examples are good it's possibly the way you're writing them. Are you referring to the behaviours dictionary when you write them?

Have you had anyone look over them? I'm happy to if you want to pm them to me.

There have been a few other threads recently with some good tips. Read the strengths dictionary and align the strengths to the behaviours in the Jd. Prepare your answers demonstrating how you meet the required level - use some of the words back at them .

Hi . I have started from scratch and written new examples looking at the behaviours dictionary. Yes I would appreciate someone else opinion. I am hope by end of week to have them all rewritten and I have included a second example so I have choices.

@Isleepinahedgefund Sorry to jump in, but I am in a similar situation, applying as an external candidate in an SEO role.
I've been shortlisted for interview with scores of 5 on each of the 4 behaviour questions. My question is, is this a good score? I know they score out of 7, so this looks (to me) to be only slightly better than average.
How do I prepare for the interview in a way that will top the application score, and give me a good chance at an offer.
