Contract issues

Hi there.
Work has been really difficult for a while, having issues with a manager. I'm contracted for specific hours, and she's ignoring this. My manager above her keeps moaning at me for not working my contracted hours, (I'm paid a higher rate for unsociable hours, but not being rota'd to work them).
Due to this, I've said I feel I'm in breech of contract. Would this mean that I could leave before my 2 months notice period or would I still be expected to fulfill this if I decide to leave? There are other issues too.

Doesn't sound like you're in breach of contract, if you are willing and able to work your contracted hours. If they are not offering you those hours, they would be in breach, not you.

If you plan to leave, put in your notice and make clear that you are available and fully prepared to work your contracted hours only, which you expect to be paid for, and are not available to work any alternative hours.
