returner from maternity leave

hi I've just returned to work after taking a year off - I'm 2 weeks in and hating it. my boss let my interim go without a handover - to date I've had nothing from him. what did your returns from maternity leave look like? I am expecting too much?

Not good. I've been back two months and my boss hasn't even spoken to me.

Mine was great, i used all 10 KIT days in the final 2 months to get my handover from the person who had covered my work.

I went back into the same team so knew who everyone was and what i was supposed to do.

Whilst i qas on maternity i probably met co-workers once or twice a month for lunch to catch up generally, wasnice to keep up to speed with my team.

Honestly after the first day it felt like i hadn't been away.

I spoke to my interim cover as they were leaving while on mat leave twice. So was okay. Boss was nice. I was expected to hit the ground ruining but other than that it was perfectly fine, again felt like I never left
