Down - not getting interviews

Am qualified librarian with a MSc in computing and a good bit of exp. Taken 3 or so years out to see to my 3 kids. Now thinking of retruning at least part time and would consider anything - have been applying for non professional roles. Not getting interviews. Am getting a bit down about it. Really would like to get back into world of work. How long did it take any returners to get back???

What sort of role have you been looking at? Are your language and skills up to date?

If you are a professional applying for non professional roles they might consider you to be too experienced. Most libraries have a casual / supply list of people they call up when they are short staffed. ould you enquire about that?
