Hi everyone! Lovely to meet you virtually – my name is Emily!

Whilst my husband and I did recently get married we are not actually parents ourselves yet, so we are keen to understand as much as possible about baby clothes and the needs of parents from those with much more experience than us!

We are a sustainable and ethical baby clothes company. We are excited to offer fantastic quality clothes (using organic Peruvian Pima cotton, the world’s finest cotton!) but even more important is our mission to raise awareness of injustices in supply chains.

If you have anything you can share, generally or in response to the below questions, that would be an amazing help!

  1. What is your favourite baby brand and why?
  1. What are your top 3 baby clothing and accessory items? Why?
  1. Is it important for you to buy baby clothes that are organic?
  1. What would you consider paying for an organic Peruvian Pima cotton sleepsuit?

Thank you!

Emily

As an Aussie, where there's huge awareness around how water intensive cotton production is, I wouldn't personally see your product as sustainable. Coupled with the fact that Peruvian cotton would have enormous shipping associated with it (to UK presumably?), that's a lot of carbon miles to add to the equation. Again, not especially sustainable.

Personally, organic cotton wasn't a priority for me. Price, ease of washing and range of colours were. Especially nice bright primary colours, because whites and pastels stained like buggery.

Thanks so much PotatoScallop, really appreciate the feedback!

I do like organic for baby clothes but don't want to pay massively more for them as shops such as M&S do organic baby clothes for a few pounds more.

Hello 'Namechangedcositstime'. Thanks for your comment! Really interesting to hear. Is M&S where you buy your organic baby clothes? How much would you pay for an organic baby onesie?
Thanks!
