Fully understand I have no idea who I am speaking with but am really anxious about a situation and could do with some advice that I'd rather not be public.

You’re right, you could be emailing anyone. ACAS or Citizens Advice, they have helplines and you have reassurance that they are accountable for the advice.

Appreciate this, I have been given advice from ACAS, was just hoping for a "real world" perspective if makes sense
