Just bought a beautiful house with my DP. We are so excited doing it up and loving every minute.
I worked out my contracts to ensure I had time off, I've been off for about a month now but financially I'm not in a rush for a new job.
I've just Been offered an amazing job that is a slight promotion and that if it was closer to home would be my dream. But it means I have to go away for 2 months, and it's too far /I'll be too busy to travel home more than once for a weekend in that time.
I'll be missing quite a few important (to me) occasions as well as just missing out on the first few weeks and stages in our first ever house.
So I don't need the money, and I don't want to go away, it's feasible I'll get another job soon anyway, though there's the possibility the job may not be quite so great or quite so good for my career (but who knows??)
I think I'm just tired of missing out on stuff to fit in my career, but I don't want to regret missing this opportunity for the sake of 2 months
