Part time school admin job

Probably not the place to post but wondered if anyone works part time in a school, are you in a pension and does the school contribute?

I’ve just accepted a 20 hour a week role and stupidly didn’t ask about a pension!

Congratulations on the new job! Pension contributions will depend of if it’s an LA maintained school or an academy. If LA, have a look on the council website, ours has all the pension information and other employee benefits.

If it’s an academy, you could try looking on the website. Failing that, email HR and ask.
