So I haven't worked in 3 years as I've been growing and raising children, 6mo and 2years.
My parents have opened their own pub/restaurant which we live above and my partner works full time for them which is super convenient. Obviously they have offered me work which I can start in a few months when baby is a bit older. But I have also been looking into buying an established tumble tots franchise! The franchise is successful and can make some good money but would obviously take a lot of time and hard work around my family life.
So do I go and work downstairs for my parents or do my own venture? I love working for my mum and would be a restaurant supervisor but the money and creativity of tumble tots is pulling me in!
What would you do?

If you have the opportunity then I would go for it! You will be more fulfilled and a happier mum if you at least give it a go! X

I thought tumbletots was a rip off...

just make sure you have a very close look at the business accounts, all expenses, fees, income, outgoings, etc.

I agree with looking at all the financial side to the business and if that works I’d give that my best shot first.

At least you know there may be an opportunity within the family business if it doesn’t work out.

Tumble tots will be awful. I guarantee it. My friend did this. The prep work was expensive and time consuming. And when your babies are big do you really want to hang out with other people's babies?

My daughter already goes to the tumble tots that I'd take over and we know the trainer really well. They've built up an amazing business and I know some other mums that use the other classes. Such a hard choose ☹️
