HR ignoring me...help

Pickledlilles · 22/03/2019 16:13

Am on long term sick and have asked for a copy of my contract. HR have ignored my request. Email has been read. Long background here but relations are strained.

Is there any reason why I am not allowed this? Does this breach any rights to my data? I work for a foreign company but have a UK employment law contract.

Thanks

Submit a subject access request for whatever data they hold it just your contract. They will have a month to supply it to you.

It would take us a couple of days to get hold of it from archive.

What do you need it for?

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that.
I need it to assist with financial stuff but didn't go into detail, just asked for a copy. I know the would be able to access very easily.

Are the details available online, possibly an intranet? Depending on the size of the company they often have copies of their standard terms and conditions online somewhere for employees.

How long ago did you request it?
