Skype for Business

Hi, this is an IT question but couldn't find a more appropriate place to post.

How do you turn off Skype for Business permanently?

Even if I log out every morning I put my system on its there and as if I have logged in again.

I would assume it's somewhere in settings on Skype, and/or in your start-up menu.

I have the same thing. At work. Drives me nuts. Even my IT guy couldn't find it.

Sarcelle · 20/03/2019 13:13

I delete it from Start Up menu and it goes, the next time I log on the system it reappears with me logged back into it! I have googled but could not find anything.

under settings and 'personal' tab there is a check box that says Automatically start the app when I log onto Windows. Not sure if unchecking the box will stop it appearing next time ??

Manzana is correct about how you stop it from starting up. If you do that it won't run at all.

If you still want to be able to receive messages and calls you should leave the "Automatically start" box checked but uncheck "Start the app in the foreground". That way it will still start but it won't be visible.

I will give that a go. On leave now but when I am back, it is going!

I will try that too. Thank you.

Report back on whether it worked!
