Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I am soon to go on maternity which will just be stat pay £148 per week. I live with my partner but he is always in and out of jobs and they are always cash in hand so no set income as such. How and what would I do regarding applying for benefits because of this? I would say we live together but when it comes to his salary I have no idea as it's always cash in hand!? Has anyone else had this

Is he declaring the cash in hand and paying tax and NI Etc ? To claim.any benefits you will need to give accurate details of bot of your incomes.

Unless he's declaring earnings he could get into a heap of shit.
