Why don't you want to go out to work ? You would earn a lot more...

bobsmum · 16/07/2007 13:44

Karencooks - you have to pay Mumsnet to post a business advert

geekgirl · 16/07/2007 13:45

yes, ironing seems to be well paid - it's £10 a basket round here - which would take me 30-45 minutes (so I'd never send it out! - but obviously others do...)

Not sure what your skills are - what did you do before you gave up work. I work from home doing marketing and PR because that is essentially what I did before.

I don't know how you find out about them, but other friends of mine earn money by:

doing admin/marketing/pr/hr for companies
doing courier work (although that isn't "from home"!)
packing samples/envelope stuffing
buying and selling antiques (mostly on ebay)
franchise for nappy selling

I just did a search and find www.homeworking.com which seemed to have quite a bit of info - good luck.

And Mozhe, because she doesn't want to

Have you tried the mumandworking.co.uk website? That generally has lots of jobs working from home and advice on there.

I work from home myself. Gets a bit lonely sometimes!

tis a good site - worth signing up for the email updates.
