What does pro rata mean in relation to p/t work?

If a job says say £20,000 pro rata and then states it is part time is the amount stated what you would get full time so you would actually get less than stated?

Yes exaactly - so if you work half time you get half salary etc

yes - you would get less. so if say a 20 hour week instead of a 40 hour week you would get £10,000 per annum.
