Hi Mums,
Im 29 years old and been in the hairdressing industry since 2006 and i absolutly love it, i have two gourges kids nearly 7yr old and a 2 year old!
I have worked since i was 14 again in a salon always and only break i had was my maternity leave (6months for my first and 1year for my second).
I came back to work only as weekends as during the week i have no help with childcare so have to stay home, but i have been having problems with my back alote and i don't see myself doing hairdressing for much longer due to my back i have been to the doctors and had scans and blood test, went to osteopath and massage and everything and been told i need to quite, im so upset as its what i really really enjoy! I have been looking into other options but i don't know what to do i thought maybe i can go into teaching hairdressing but im so crap at expalining things i really am! I need something thats fits my kids school drop and pick up! Just totally lost 😫! I don't feel like im good at anything, maths is my weakest point, im crap and expaling things i just don't know
Would appriciate any suggestions or anything!

How about something like becoming a hairdressing NVQ assessor?

My situation is similar to yours, except I have been in the Childcare sector! I posted on here last week asking if anyone had done nvq assessing, much like the comment above suggests, and after some helpful comments I enrolled on the assessor course on Friday night, the one I'm on is 90% online based which is great for me plus they don't have a set time for me to finish the course in which I also liked as you know what it's like when life gets the better of you... I was worried as someone suggested to me that I will need my own learners to Assess as part of the course but this company are providing me with learners to Assess :D feel like I've hit the jackpot lol
(also, I'm crap at maths too, so we're in the same boat lol)
