Which job?

I would really appreciate some views!

Which job would you choose?

Job 1

This is my current role (support worker). I work as an outreach team member. I do random hours each day/ week. For example worked for 2 hours today, I also work 6 days a week.

I don't drive (yet) So struggle to get to each call (can be up to 3 a day) across the town.

The problem with this job is the hours, i work every evening this week and haven't seen my daughter.

I am a contracted employee.

I should also mention it's a very cliche team, lots of related staff. I have also not had chance to.progress with the company.

Job 2

This is the job I've been offered.

Same position but in a private hospital setting focusing on mental health (I'd be doing a similar role)

I'd be based in one place, so less travelling, plus would only need to do 2 long shifts a week then have more days off. I feel this would be better as my partner works and I could manage childcare better.

But.. it's bank. On average bank staff get 2 shifts a week, but if course it's not guaranteed.

Part of me thinks just go for it.

Another says don't give up part time contract for a zero hours one...

Help!

Or maybe the third option is to keep looking until you find something you feel convinced about.

If you need guaranteed income and your "big but" stopping you from making the decision to move is that you may not be given work, then for goodness sake don't give up guaranteed income for it! You'll transfer the stress of one job to a different stress in another,
