Am I being discriminated against?

Hey guys, new here but need some advice..

I’ve worked at my current employment for a decade and am classed as a senior call operator.

I went part time a while ago due to my child and have found that all the better work and training is being farmed out to full time staff but not me.

I’ve asked for extra training that they do loads of times and everyone just keeps telling me no and justifying it with it makes more sense to send full timers.. HELP!!?

giving this a bump

I did think it was discrimination to withhold opps from part time stuff but am not a lawyer...

You shouldn't be treated less favourably because you don't work full time.

You can’t be treated less favourably because of your part time status, so yes it is unlawful to withhold access to training opportunities.

Yes, this is discrimination.
Go to your union if you have one.
If not, take advice from Acas.
