Re-hiring employees ?

Would an employer consider re-hiring an employee who resigned after a short period of employment? The employee was offered a better contract by another company but is starting to realise that they would have been better off staying where they were.

Depends if there is a role available - some companies will, some won't - there's no rules about it.

It certainly can happen but it's pretty unusual in my opinion. From an employer's perspective the employee has messed you around, cost you money and is probably likely to move on again anyway.

Obviously no one can really tell you except your ex-employer.
