Hi all. Feeling lost.
Been made redundant from my work from home job that i have had for the last 5 years with a payment that will only last a couple of months. Have no idea where to go from here. Ill never find another job that fits around childcare like this one did.

im a single parent with no income from today. several outgoings, rent, have some debts, 4 kids to feed, some little, no childcare help. doubt ill be entitled to anything as ive got a small redundancy payment.

What does everyone do from here?

Your employer should have provided you with a contact name, email address & phone number which you can use on your CV for job references

Update your CV and start looking for another job

If you are in UK, apply for contributions based job seekers allowance this may be via Universal credit or the old system. You may be entitled to some other benefits too.
The job centre may be able to help you find the sort of job that you are looking for

Ive seen a few jobs that are based at home where you need a good internet connection. Proving audio typing transcripts, creating CVs, "chat" support box that appears on company websites etc
