How easy to return to Nursing practice & revalidation.

The situation I am in is as follows. I have worked for 30 years as a qualified Nurse. Just over two years ago I found a job in a completely different role and basically learned the job from scratch. It was much lower pay ( as is expected in a brand new career), but I supplemented that with bank work at the unit I had worked at for the past 13 years. Now I have managed to get a much better paid job in my new career and I start next month, the salary is better then my nursing wage was. It is full time and I wont have time to do any Nursing Bank work anymore. My worry is about letting my registration lapse altogether, my revalidation date is October this year. I have done more then enough hours could do he study days and reflections etc but would probably struggle to do the five pieces of feedback. I am unlikely to be doing any more bank Nursing now before my revalidation date. I don't realistically have anyone to sign me off. I have resigned myself to no longer being registered after October but it feels scary especially as I have done Nursing for so many years. I guess what I'm asking is if the worst case scenario happened and my new job didn't work out and I needed to return to Nursing , how easy is it to return to practice. Has anyone done this and can offer advice?
