Platform To Help Women Find Jobs (flexible working, returning after MAT)

I've been a recruiter for many years and i'm completely taken a back by the lack of support for women returning to a FT role after mat leave and also the limited opportunities provided for flexible/ remote working for people.

I'm keen to develop a solution to support women and i'm thinking a website that would offer job opportunities from flexible employees, courses, CV writing tips, interview help, community support etc.

Looking for feedback if anyone who be able to offer their thoughts?.

Thank you

Another recruiter here ! There are a few but not really a de facto platform as such. Take a look at a site called Women Returners Professional Network which lists many different job boards and recruiters. Also many of the large firms have returner programmes. You're right though, this sector do seem to be very underrepresented.

I have just been offered a job after several years child-rearing break. One thing that I feel is lacking in the returner programmes and online is references / referees. I have been asked to source personal references from a company I haven't worked for for ten years. Some companies only keep employee records for six years - it really needs more attention, for employers as well.
