Hi there,
I applied for a job abroad and was selected for an interview with the 'head of' the business unit and one of the senior managers. That went well, and he suggested another role which he thought I should also consider (which hadn't been advertised yet). I was very interested and was interviewed shortly after for the new role by the relevant senior manager. That interview lasted over 1 1/2 hour. She then advised me that the next step was for me have a 'conversation' (they call it that but they mean a full on interview) with another senior manager, a key internal stakeholder. It now turns out that the interview is with the other senior manager, the hiring manager and someone from HR (another key stakeholder??).
The role is about cultural changes which may explain HR's presence...? Or there was some mention of a written test but no details, and they were going to advise me on that seeing that I can only do it remotely (no idea what it actually entails). I was already panicking over the one-to-one as I can't possibly think what else to say, but now I will potentially have three people quizzing me which seems very extreme!! Or maybe not seeing as I may be the only applicant offshore and therefore they're being more thorough...
Panic, panic, panic... and I am traveling for work at the moment, so I'll be Skyping from my hotel room after a day of meetings back-to-back.
