hi , i have to be made redundant, i know that it is based on how many years youve been working, but does the wage , go on what you get paid on what your earning now, or is it on each year you have been with employer thanks

Redundancy pay is a week's current pay per year of service, but a week's pay for those purposes is capped at £310 (so, if you earn more than that, you get £310).

It doesn't matter what you were paid in past years. Only what you are paid at the time of the redundancy.

Based on age and weeks employed. £310 is the statutory max amount but some companies pay you your actual weekly amount if you are on more. Need to check their redundancy policy

Yes for each year you are 41 or over you get 1.5 times your weekly pay or £310 whichever is higher, unless you are on enhanced terms and get your actual weeks pay if its higher than £310.
I was made redundant in April and its been a wonderful change and now I am self employed and wish I had done it years ago.
