I'm in a poorly paid job and I don't get much respect.

I've been offered a better paying job with solo responsibility and I'm scared to take it.

It's so much easier to stay in a job and blame everyone else isn't it?

I will leave, I have to. But I'm scared.

My DP is returning to work this week after 7 years (due to long term illness) and he's terrified.
Just do it and accept it's really scary - but this time next year you'll be a part of the furniture in your new place and wonder what you ever worried about.
