Ok, here's the story. I have a 32-hr permanent contract with one employer. Since Jan 2017 I've also been working 8hr a week somewhere else (quite common here where I live). Employer 2 has told me they won't renew my contract (make it permanent), unless I can work minimum of 20 hrs. haha, no chance as I'd be dumb to reduce my hours at my permanent job. So long story short, my last day at employer 2 will be on 21 Dec. Now I just need to get through the next 5 Fridays. And they have an office opening party on 30 Nov and of course my leaving do. None of which I now want to attend as I feel slightly miffed. Tips for a poker face?
