I've been given another sick note from the doctor due to my anxiety and depression. As I have a number of mental health problems, the doctor doesn't want me to do anything that may hurt the baby or myself, as I am 10 weeks pregnant. Work won't let me come back until I get a note to confirm that I am fit for work.
I have been working at this company since feb and my manager congratulated me that I had passed probation in August, but I never signed anything. Will I still get maternity pay?
I've been off for about 2 and half months as I had a slow miscarriage and then the doctor believed that I was having another slow miscarriage due to the amount of blood I was loosing. So I sort of went into a depressed state. Now there's a high chance that my baby won't survive.
What can I do work related ? What are my rights ? I've spoken to citizen advice and they said they can't sack me for my reasons that I've been off as it's all pregnancy related and mental health, but they are unsure about the probation as some companies just have a roll over period.
