I applied for a job I'm over qualified last week, but no relevant experience for this particular role (it was experience desired, not essential), although the person spec fit me to a T.
The job would have been perfect to fit around school, husband's work and other commitments. And I am absolutely miserable in my current job.
The application deadline was originally Monday (12th), I have since seen that they have extended the deadline until the 20th.
Do you think I'm out of the running for it?
