I worked full time for my place for 9 years before I went on maternity with my little boy. I then returned part time- first 2 days, then 3.
I’ll be going on maternity leave Feb. I’ve annoyed my boss by having today and yesterday off to look after my little boy who is sick and I haven’t slept for 2 nights while 5 months pregnant.
I’m just worried this is a black mark against me and will be on the “cons list” for letting me return part time. I don’t really understand my rights, I need my part time job as I can see there’s nothing out there as flexible! I don’t know what I’m going to do if they won’t have me back!
Anyone been in a similar situation?
