Feeling excluded.and it is affecting my MH.WWYD

I started a thread a few weeks back.I love my job and work long hours.I look forward to going in.Or I did.
A while ago someone much younger started in another dept and seemed lovely.She tried to befriend me offering drinks after work but I do 12 hour days and need time alone or with DH.
others took her up on her offer and a clique developed.Fine I'm considerably older than all the others and don't really enjoy socialising.
Now it is affecting the workplace.People that were previously chatty give me.scant replies.Even.someone.ive.known.over 10 years is off.with me.
I.daresay.i.am.depressed.a.bit.anyway.and.have.contacted.GP.Should.i.ask.someone.what.has.gone.on.Or lev e it.for more.weeks Apologies.for.full.stops.

I honestly think that you could be imagining it because you are depressed. I have not bothered with socialising at work for last few years and nobody has thought anything of it. Perhaps make a particular effort to instigate chats at work, but I don't think I would highlight the matter at this point.

Seeing your GP and looking after your MH is important though, maybe have that appointment before you potentially create a situation that was not there at work.

Just been reffered for help.Think I have SAD.Normally I don't care what people think so long as they are civil.One colleague has been quick to point out my shortcomings.I think I'm struggling in general but there is definitely something going on.I like people and get told I see the good in everyone.

Yes that was.my thought.In fact she is away.at the moment and people are chatting again!.TBH they all drink together and chat after work or should I say bitch.I feel happier knowing she is away as there is no atmosphere.I'm not jealous as I say plenty of prettier.girls work there I just think she has influence over others.
