I could be panicking about nothing, but something doesn't feel right.

I've NC.

I work for a medium sized company. My role involves visiting my customers at their place of work. But I am based from my home.

On Friday my boss called and asked me to go to a meeting in a different part of the country (an hour or so from where I normally work) on Monday morning (today).

This is unusual, because of the short notice and where the meeting is. Also because the calendar invite doesn't have any information about the meeting, just states it's me and my manager and he's put it as private in his calendar.

I could be massively reading into this the wrong way. But I've just got a bad feeling about it.

What notice do I need to be given if this is about redundancy? Or investigation or disciplinary? Are they allowed to lie about what the meeting is about and get me there on false pretences?

I've just found out I'm pregnant, I haven't told work yet and I'm really stressed because of this.

Ring your manager and ask what the agenda is. Dont tell him youre pg.

I would say completely the opposite and do tell him you're pregnant!

how long have you worked there?

Just wait and see what happens, then you'll be able to give us the full picture.

Does it mention what type of meeting? If not, I'd contact him and ask what it's related to "so that I can prepare properly" and know what to bring etc etc
