Both my DDs are now at school and it's time for me to find myself a job.. I've always worked in care of the elderly and childcare so it'd be easiest to get a role doing this again but Id like to work in a hospital doing ward clerk/admin/health records.. I've no qualifications in this area and I only really use emails/social media and Google etc so have no experience of word or excel or any kind of work based computer skills.
What would be the best route to go to get these skills? I'm wary of online companies and don't want to pay for something which may not be needed so any advice would be great
Thanks Smile

Your local jobcentre May run courses, ask there?

It might be worth having a google of your local college or the councils adult education department. I know the council in my area run similar courses. Maybe pop into your local library as well.

If you Google "Microsoft Office free online training" you'll find lots of options. I couldn't tell you specifically which are better, but I've seen some that are you tube tutorials so I would just look through a few until you find one that suits you.

And yes, also worth asking the job centre, there are sometimes free training options available.

Good luck.
