Return from mat leave but pregnant

I've been with my employer for nearly 4 years and am coming up to the end of mat leave with my first baby, but when I return in January I'll be 4 months pregnant so will only be back in work for 4/5 months before being off again.

I wonder if anyone else has done this and has any advice on what to say to people, do I be honest and say I've planned it or it was an accident? Not that it's anyones business but you get chatting.

Are there any tips or advice or stories to share? Thank you xxxx

You will get people who won’t best pleased especially if they are having to cover the extra workload. I would have a chat with you’re employer first when you have your going back to work meeting.

Nobody else's business really.
One of my colleagues did that. Because she's a teacher we laughed that she missed 2 and a half years really of teaching so half the school didn't know her (for the sake of a couple of months she did intervention between mat leaves rather than disrupt a class).

I wouldn't dignify anyone asking about how planned it was with an answer. It's a rude question anyway (unkess you are very close friends) and totally unprofessional.
