If you had applied for a job and only had a generic acknowledgement, at what stage would you consider it acceptable to call and ask the company for an update?
Interviews begin the week after next so cutting it quite fine if not telling us today.
I know other people who have applied and not heard yet so not just me - otherwise I would just assume I hadn't got it!
