Very long application form!

Hi

Has anyone recently applied for a job with a Borough Council? I did years ago and the application form was so long!

I suppose I'm looking for some assistance from HR people, Council, although I remember a pp offering CV services a few months ago.

Do I just plough through it? Any advice would be appreciated.

I really want this job and I think I would be good at it btw!

Thanks

If you want a chance of getting the job, you’ll have to complete the form. There’s no short cut.

Thanks Agent. Are you HR or council? Was thinking more of criteria to be filled etc?

This is a very practical tip. Write your work history out in a note document. That way you can copy and paste into online application forms without having to tweak the formatting all the time.

At least once you do it there is a chance if you apply again to the same place it may ikeep all the info.

For instance, I regularly apply to the NHS. At first it annoyed me all the stuff I had to fill in, but when it comes to doing it again it has already kept the info which I can edit if I wish.

But I know what you mean.
